Tori Stukins is a media professional currently working at KSDK NewsChannel 5 in TV Market 21, in St. Louis, as a Morning News Producer and Writer.

Before making the trek to Cardinal County, she was at WAND NewsCenter 17, the NBC Affiliate in TV Market 85, as a Web Producer, Fill-In Producer and Host of “Tuned Into Tech.”

She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2015 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minor in Theater. While in college, she participated in a variety of activities, from a Shakespearean theatre troupe, What You Will Shakespeare Company, to working as an on-air personality at the campus radio station, Champaign’s Alternative WPGU 107.1. She worked on internships spanning from editorial concentrations at Her Campus Illinois to The Spread, rounding out her tenure at the university with a community relations internship with Champaign Unit 4 Schools.

Throughout her time at UIUC, she garnered a love for working with the public, as well as utilizing social media in new and innovative ways. However, it was through her entrance into professional news operations that she nurtured her original love for technology and consumer products.

In her spare time, she enjoys video games, trying out new tech products, volunteering at animal shelters and hunting for bargains on vinyl and other things she probably doesn’t need.

She hopes to pursue more opportunities in news, with a concentration in tech and consumer news.
