Tori Stukins is a media professional currently working at Core & Main, located in St. Louis, Missouri, as a Communications Specialist. She’s also recently worked as as a Senior Communications Strategist for dental support organization Heartland Dental.
Before making her return to world of media and communications, Tori took a break to dabble into eCommerce, technology and the world of start-ups as a Content Development Specialist for OneSpace. Prior to this, Tori worked at KSDK News, (Market 21) in St. Louis, as a Morning News Producer.
Before making the trek to Cardinal County, she spent time in her hometown at WAND NewsCenter 17, the NBC Affiliate in Market 85, as a Web Producer, Fill-In Producer and Host of “Tuned Into Tech.”
She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in May 2015 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and minor in Theater. While in college, she participated in a variety of activities, from a Shakespearean theatre troupe, to working as an on-air personality at the campus radio station. She worked on internships spanning from editorial concentrations at Her Campus Illinois, rounding out her tenure at the university with a community relations internship with Champaign Unit 4 Schools.
Throughout her time at UIUC, she garnered a love for working with the public, as well as utilizing social media in new and innovative ways. However, it was through her entrance into professional news operations that she nurtured her original love for technology and consumer matters.
Currently, Tori is pursuing her Master’s in Public Relations at Webster University.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing Dungeons & Dragons, going on adventures with her partner and their massive Bernedoodle pup as well as thrifting vintage housewares and other things she probably doesn’t need.
She hopes to pursue more opportunities in content, with a concentration in innovation and community interests.
